final packing last night.....i think both my PILs tak leh nak tido sgt as they are going home today....a short visit...less than 3 wks....it would be nice if they could stay longer... so takde laa penat sgt jalan2...rushing sana sini....
aman & mimi left earlier....as nak gi dadibhais ..AGAIN...heheh....
we left the house around 10.30am....and arrived Manchester airport before noon....they checked-in....around 1.30pm final goodbye....no tears...heheh....
then we went to trafford centre....nice & hugeee.....had mc donalds for lunch.....and when solat at 'multi faith' prayer room....bagus betul ..ada tempat nak wudu' sekali... why 'multi faith'....sumer ada dalam tuh...the big cross, kiblat utk Muslim, 'hand' coming out from the wall and surrounded by curtain a statute of jesus kot....
balik rumah...kemas....

today....2nd last day for my PILs....
dunno where else to go....since aman wants to buy kebab (doner)...we bring him to Bradford....bollywood....hehehe....
prior arrving to the destination....we stopped at one place...hhmmm....apa lah nama kedai nih....
and for lunch...we head for BBQ Inn in Harehills.....tq yer ayah for the lovely treat.
also this morning...nisya arrived safely kat Manchester...since takmo kacau daun..she stayed at her friend's house in birmingham...and decide to come to our house on wednesday...sama2 dengan nana....

last carboot for my PILs...& balloon tree fruit picking

my PILs arrived yesterday evening with aman & mimi & little alia....
on the way to leeds..they stopped at liverpool...as my MIL's long lost friend, sharida lived there....
and today....sunday....activity wajib laa...alhamdulillah weather was very kind...dgn izin Allah..of course!...today is a sunny day. 1st destination is Wetherby ...followed by Rufforth.... pic of rufforth sempat amik kat entrance je....dah masuk carboot dah tak ingat...hehehe....puas hati laa as both side ada...
lepas abis carboot....terus i said kita gi york...without revealing the actual plan...takut nanti ada yang takmo....actually i've long for fruit picking...dok uk nih..nak laa merasa ..at least once....i'm sure danial will enjoy it....
and true enough.....we went to Balloon Tree farmshop & cafe .

we head for the starwberries....gemok2...danial love them...he plucked on his own...& terus jer ngap......and then raspberry.....danial suka sgt2....nak beli kat market pon mahal... and so he nyum nyum...puas2...hehehe..
since it's past noon time...some of my entourage dah lapo...which includes danial. ingat nak makan situ....takmo lak..nak makan proper2...payah plak....so we head for masjid in york at Bull Lane....so unfortunate...tak bukak....ingat nak gi York railway museum..KA said not a good idea as dia dah lapo.......and so we head to York Designer outlet....
had our lunch...and then did some shopping.....

after a hectic evening.....i woke up bit late today...infact tuan rumah pon lambat... hehehe.. penat dia....sian....
after breakfast nearly 10am...we make a move to Aberystwyth. i think betweek 1/2 hour to 45 min to reach the city centre.

cardiff & lampeter

we start our journey after 10.30am....as yesterday we arrived quite late.
after 2 1/2 hours journey....first stop is cardiff....raja nooradila & ijam's place... alhamdulillah...were treated with lovely spaghetti bolognese.....
somehow..i can felt that my father-in-law was so frustrated when we reached cardiff as he thinks cardiff is near to lampeter...my main intention was to give him a rest rather than sitting in a car and park by the service....we had late breakfast.i.e. nasi goreng..infact i even make beehoon ...hoping that whomsoever hungry will eat sebelum gerak to cardiff...well..none were interested!....lunch...rice...is definitely out of question!... hehehe...
we then continue our journey.....another 2 hours....alhamdulillah motorway all the way through.....when we finally reached Carmarthen...kamarul told them...this is the end of jalan besar as we will now proceed to "Jalan A"...(a smaller route to go to lampeter)...it's another 1/2 hour - 40 minutes....for 1st timer to lampeter...my FIL was saying that "nih hujung tanjung"....i think he's tired...then tak sampai2 pulak lampeter nih.....along the way alhamdulillah we saw houses and not hutan.....i love greeneries.....cantik hutan2 nih during summer...if autumn ...yellowish brownish....cantikkkk.....subhanallah dgn ciptaan Allah....
..and finally we reach derwen deg, cwmann, lampeter.....alhamdulillah...lega....mimi & aman's new place best sgt2....big & spacious...far more better than the old house....MY FIL buat perbandingan...our house in leeds is in town but kecik...rumah sini even hujung tanjung but puas hati besar....true enough...this derwen deg is cosy house....berkali2 i said to mimi that she's lucky to get this house....memang puas hati laaa....if i get such house pun...teramat laa puas hati....nih kira mcm rezqi coz PIL datang...mana tak...big kitchen, ada lak dining room..besar pon lagik..then living room lak...washing room ..nice toilet on the ground floor...tangga ok..(unlike our house...hehehe)...2 big room & 1 study...cukup puas hati laa......as for us pon nice things happened to us...nih sumer rezqi PIL dtg to leeds.....alhamdulillah....
we then had tea & kueh lapis lampeter a.k.a lapis sarawak.....sedap mimi buat...org pandai masak laa kata kan.....then dinner, we had ayam msk asam, mix vegi & telur dadar....simple but filling.....

a visit to uk is not complete if one did not visit london...the capital city of united kingdom.
we started our journey early in the morning so that by lunch time we could ronda2 london city. this is our first time driving to london....alhamdulillah we arrived safely at Home & Away Guest House in london zone 3 around noon....i would usually book travelodge but since it's a last minute decision and travelodge is wayyy too expensive (unless one book early)...we settled for this guest house...it's own by a malay guy (En Ahmad)...nice cosy place and u can cook here..fridge&freezer, cooker, microwave, rice cooker & cooking utensils are provided....just bring OWN food...& not forgetting rice...for u rice-eater out there...hehehe...also dont forget ur towels & toiletries.

to me this place is very convenient as almost everything are included. near to a tube station. kalo masuk london...must remember the "congestion zone charge"(CCZ)....kalo yg tak familiar with CCZ....pls read up yer....CCZ nih must be pre-paid prior entering the zone...kalo tak kena saman. don't mislead by the word 'congestion'...(bukan traffic jam laaa).
to go to Dollis Hill tube station...u walk down the denzil road till u meet jalan besar (dudden hill lane)...turn right (u'll see cooper road opposite jalan) and u'll see dudden hill food & wine shop..next to it is Zam's restaurant....walk straight on till u see one tiny sign saying 'dollis hill tube station'...cross the road .. *PLEASE TAKE NOTE that the road may be busy...so masa cross kena hati2 yer..and walk till the end of the road where the tube station situated.
best way yg selamat is....at the end of denzil road turn left and walk towards the traffic light...cross the road and walk towards dudden hill food & wine shop...the rest sama je laa.
after having a simple lunch & brahims (hehehe...den malas nak msk....alhamdulillah brahims save the day)...& perform our solat...we go out for jalan2....ronda2 london. ...
1st destination is buckingham palace (green park tube station)...
2) next is big ben & westminster & london eye (wesminster tube station)...[kalo nak gi terus to london eye...nearest is waterloo tube station)...lepak situ jap and had fillet o fish & cold carbonated drink....mind u it's a hot day....
3) next is tower of london (tower hill tube station)....where the backdrop is the famous tower bridge a.k.a london bridge (due to the famous london bridge nursery rhyme/song...heheheh).
4) followed by trafalgar square (charing cross tube station)....DO NOT FEED THE PIGEON there...mampos kena saman nnt...starting 17 nov 2007. People caught feeding the birds face possible prosecution and a £50 fine, under a new by-law.
5) i wanted to go to piccadilly circus...but KA decided tak payah....diaorg tak tau pon apa tuh....so takde laa pegi..
6) next destination is Harrods (knightsbridge tube station..nearest is brompton road exit)...or my FIL said (herot...as herot berot muka tgk harga kat harrods nih...hehhee)...the founder is Charles Henry Harrod...but now is own by mohamed al-fayed.
7) since dah lapo...we head for Malaysian Hall (queensway or bayswater tube station....but i think nearest is queensway tube station) for dinner....met dr. sidek baba & also ustaz erfino there.
we finally arrived the guest house at 10.30pm......sian my PIL..musti penat sgt...but my niat is for them to see london as many places as possible..... a visit to UK would not be meaningful if one didnt go to LONDON city.....
a small advice....decide where u want to go study dulu tube map....make sure u know where to stop...if not kelam kabut nanti.i hope info given above suffice.
byk lagik places in london tak dpt visit..like marble arch, covent garden, camden market, pettycoat lane, madame Tussuad...and etc...time constraint & dah tua tak larat nak jln byk2...penat tau....

today...lepak je.....as tomorrow will be another journey.
so today...we decided to bring them ronda2 leeds city....
then for lunch...we went to BBQ Inn...a kurdish shop...we ate lamb & chicken kosi...coupled with baked bean soup and aubergine soup...also grill chicken on skew
